History of The Grove of Anaheim
The Grove of Anaheim opened in 1999 as Tinseltown, a dinner theatre offering a taste of celebrity life. Patrons arrived on a red carpet outside a structure resembling a small movie studio. The water tower and sound stage added to design authenticity. Paparazzi snapped impromptu photos just outside the entrance. The idea failed.
Anaheim renamed the venue, and Tinseltown was known as The Sun. Dinner theatre was scrapped for live concerts. In 2001, The Grove of Anaheim was born. Managed, operated and booked by Nederlander Concerts, the venue attracts crowds from all over Los Angeles.
About The Grove Of Anaheim
The venue hosts live concerts, stand up comedy performances and Broadway shows. Crowds from 50 to 5,000 people are accommodated thanks to flexible seating configuration. Concerts hold 1,400 people, while dinner shows seat 600. Smaller crowds help to create a truly unique concert experience. Guests enjoy state-of-the-art audio and video, full service catering and knowledgeable staff that ensure every experience at The Grove of Anaheim is a memorable one.
Performances at The Grove of Anaheim have specially designed menus featuring American Cuisine. Patrons choose from pasta, beef, chicken, seafood and vegetarian selections. Some tickets require that dinner be purchased during the performance.
